Step Two of creating my wedding dress: to see if I can make the dress without any sewing and see how long it takes.

Time it took to make: 1 hour ^_^

Materials: Left over fabric from Christopher's cloak, twine, scissors, safety pins, a dance dress in place of the chemise, and some random necklaces

So now I know it can be done the way I am thinking of it, but it brings up some new questions. Should I use stretchy fabric or stick with linen? Should I try to buy some premade old German brooches for the straps, or make my own? Should I go a little longer on the overdress?

I am very happy, however, with how this design looks overall for my height, so I am proceeding with making the dress. No more garish color combinations, though, just the original blue and ivory ^_^ Yay!

It's so cute and rebelish, I love it! :) I'm not much into dresses but I'd totally buy this one if I saw it somewhere.

wouldn't wear it for my wedding, but i'd wear it for ANYTHING ELSE <3

Unfortunately nearly not as nice the as test run. We had scrapped the idea and only picked it up about 2 weeks before the wedding, so it isn't quite as well structured as I had wanted. I am planning on making a second one in a while, so that one will be put up when it is finished ^_^
